WASHINGTON, Aug. 18 -- The Democratic Governors Association issued the following news:
Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mike Cooney smashed fundraising records during the first major fundraising period thanks to support from grassroots donors and Montanans. Cooney raised over $720,000, nearly doubling the amount that Gov. Steve Bullock raised during his 2016 run, despite new campaign finance limits.
Cooney raised more than half of his funds from small, online donation . . .
