NEW BRUNSWICK, New Jersey, Aug. 13 -- Rutgers University issued the following news:

Rutgers researchers have been awarded a $20 million grant by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to evaluate new point of care tests that would diagnose tuberculosis (TB), the number one cause of deaths worldwide due to an infectious disease.
