Merlin G. Butler, M.D., Ph.D.Merlin G. Butler, M.D., Ph.D., a professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at KU Medical Center, is internationally recognized for both the volume and significance of his contributions to the field of genetics and understanding of Prader-Willi, a genetic disorder that occurs in one out of every 15,000 births in the United States.
