WASHINGTON, Aug. 8 -- The American Council on Education issued the following news release on Aug. 7:
As negotiations continue on the next COVID-19 relief bill--though talks appeared still at an impasse today and the Trump administration was threatening executive action on some provisions--ACE and other associations made recommendations on the best path forward for needed assistance to students and institutions, among other issues.
