PHOENIX, Arizona, Aug. 5 -- The Arizona Democratic Party issued the following news release on Aug. 4:
Last night Arizona Democrats shot past total 2016 Primary Election turnout with mail-in early ballots. Early vote turnout is at 36.5% vs 34% from 2016. We are approximately 24,409 votes past 2016 vote numbers. This does not include today's Maricopa County numbers, which are still pending.
2018 primary mail-in ballot numbers have already been surpassed and Democrats . . .
