WASHINGTON, Aug. 1 -- The Democratic National Committee issued the following news release:
This week, the Democratic National Committee and Nebraska Democratic Party held a virtual text bank encouraging Nebraskans to fill out and return an application to receive a mail-in ballot for the general election. Some 75 volunteers texted approximately 110,000 voters in Douglas County, continuing Democrats' months-long effort to ensure voters can safely cast their ballots.
