COLUMBUS, Ohio, Aug. 1 -- The Ohio House Democrats issued the following statement on July 31 by Ohio State Rep. Stephanie Howse, D-Cleveland, on the Ohio House vote to remove State Rep. Larry Householder, R-Glenford, as speaker:
Householder and four associates were indicted by a federal grand jury mid an ongoing FBI criminal investigation into his connection to an alleged $60 million public corruption and bribery scheme--the largest in state history.
