Summer Relief: Lower Fuel Costs for Entergy Texas Customers

NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana, July 23 -- Entergy issued the following news release:
Under the Company's proposal pending at the Public Utility Commission of Texas, Entergy Texas customers will see a 4.1 percent reduction in the fuel portion of their bills for three months, which could begin as early as August.
For the average residential customer using 1,000 kWh a month, the fuel charge will be reduced from about $23.34 per megawatt-hour to $18.67 per megawatt-hour, a savings . . .
