INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana, July 20 -- The Indiana Democratic Party issued the following statement by Chairman John Zody after the death of Rep. John Lewis, D-Georgia and the Rev. C.T. Vivian:
"We have lost a part of the soul our country in the passing of John Lewis and C.T. Vivian. Lewis and Vivian exhibited a moral clarity that could cut through the hatefulness that enshrouded our country and illuminate the righteous path.
