LINCOLN, Nebraska, July 20 -- The Nebraska Democratic Party issued the following news release:
The Nebraska Democratic Party State Central Committee voted Sunday to have Alisha Shelton represent the party as our U.S. Senate nominee if Chris Janicek leaves the race by Sept. 1, 2020.
The party removed all resources and support from Mr. Janicek after he violated the NDP Code of Conduct by making sexually inappropriate comments about a staff member during a group text to hi . . .
