TALLAHASSEE, Florida, July 18 -- The Florida Democratic Party issued the following statement on July 17 by Chair Terrie Rizzo:
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics released its state-specific jobs data, which revealed that Florida's unemployment rate is at 10.4%. Yesterday, the U.S. Department of Labor data showed that Florida's unemployment is once again surging. DOL reported that unemployment claims doubled compared to the previous week, with 129,408 new claims in Florida . . .
