PHOENIX, Arizona, July 18 -- The Arizona Democratic Party issued the following news release on July 17:

The Commission on Appellate Court Appointments, whose primary duty is vetting applicants for the Arizona Court of Appeals and Supreme Court, cannot be composed entirely of one party.
