WASHINGTON, July 17 -- The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation issued the following news release on July 16:
The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) announced $1.3 million in grants to restore, enhance, and protect shortleaf pine, oak and riparian forests, and in-stream habitats for wildlife in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky and Tennessee. The grants will generate nearly $1.5 million in matching contributions for a total conservation impact of $2.8 million.
