CHARLESTON, West Virginia, July 16 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of West Virginia, Mike Stuart, issued the following statement on July 14 regarding violence against law enforcement:
"Sadly, our law enforcement officers and police have become the target of terrible attacks. Two nights ago in McAllen, Texas, two police officers were fatally shot while responding to a domestic disturbance. Yesterday, in Bothell, Washington, two police officers were shot, one fatal . . .
