BOSTON, Massachusetts, July 15 -- GLBTQ Legal Advocates and Defenders issued the following news release:
A new Maine Department of Health and Human Services rule went into effect that removes unnecessary barriers to amending gender markers on birth certificates, and makes available the option of choosing an X marker.
