HONOLULU, Hawaii, July 9 -- The University of Hawaii Cancer Center issued the following news:
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) awarded a $3.5M grant over a five-year period to a joint effort involving the University of Hawaii Cancer Center, the University of Pittsburgh, Massachusetts General Hospital and Aethlon Medical, Inc., to study new strategies to improve immunotherapy responses in patients affected by Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma (HNSCC).
