On Friday, President Trump announced his intent to formally nominate William Perry Pendley as the director of the Bureau of Land Management.
This comes after the administration pulled a maneuver -- which is facing a challenge in court - to allow Pendley to serve indefinitely as acting director of BLM without confirmation by the Senate.
