WASHINGTON, June 30 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) has awarded $250,000 to the Village of Coal Grove for the replacement of outdated and undersized waterlines and install 77 fire hydrants. The new water infrastructure will improve fire safety throughout the village, as well as water quality and service for more than 1,300 households and 57 businesses.
