HELENA, Montana, June 27 -- The Montana Democratic Party issued the following news release:
Two years ago, Senator Steve Daines touted his anti-choice bona fides by tying his support for the Affordable Care Act repeal effort to defunding Planned Parenthood. Despite Planned Parenthood serving roughly 10,000 patients in Montana a year, Daines was dead-set on gutting funding for these clinics which provide life-saving care for Montanans.
