PHOENIX, Arizona, June 26 -- The Arizona Democratic Party issued the following news release:
House Democrats have just passed a policing reform proposal in honor of George Floyd, whose death in police custody sparked nationwide calls to address police misconduct and racial injustice and prompted weeks of protests. Arizona's Democratic U.S. House Representatives were all co-sponsors of the bill, which passed largely along party lines with most Republicans opposing it.
