HOLYOKE, Massachusetts, June 25 -- ISO New England issued the following news release:
Wholesale power prices averaged $16.48 per megawatt-hour (MWh)/* in the Day-Ahead Energy Market in May 2020, down 32% compared to the previous year and marking the lowest since the current market structure launched in 2003. Real-Time Energy Market averages fell to $17.97/MWh, the lowest May price and the third-lowest month overall since 2003.
