RICHMOND, Virginia, June 24 -- The Virginia Democratic Party issued the following statement by Chair Susan Swecker congratulating Democratic nominee Cameron Webb on winning Virginia's 5th Congressional district:
"Tonight Cameron Webb got one step closer to becoming the first Black physician elected to Congress.
"He ran a strong campaign focused on healthcare and equality, and I'm confident that he'll be a formidable opponent against Bob Good.
