HELENA, Montana, June 24 -- The Montana Democratic Party issued the following news release:
Following the passage of the Great American Outdoors Act in the U.S. Senate, Lt. Gov. Mike Cooney called (literally) upon Rep. Greg Gianforte to co-sponsor the legislation in the House of Representatives. Greg Gianforte - Montana's lone representative in the U.S. House - has so far refused.
Gianforte has vocally opposed full and permanent funding for the Land and Water Conse . . .
