JEFFERSON CITY, Missouri, June 19 -- The Missouri Public Service Commission issued the following news release:

The Missouri Public Service Commission has approved an application filed by Liberty Utilities LLC (Liberty Water) which authorizes Liberty Water to acquire the water and sewer franchises and assets of the Lakeland Heights Water Company, the Oakbrier Water Company, R.D. Sewer Company LLC and the Whispering Hills Water System (Selling Utilities).
