N.H. U.S. Attorney: New Hampshire Awarded $2 Million for Law Enforcement Hiring to Advance Community Policing

CONCORD, New Hampshire, June 4 -- The U.S. Attorney for the District of New Hampshire, Scott W. Murray, issued the following news release on June 3:

United States Attorney Scott W. Murray announced today that the Department of Justice has awarded $2 million in grant funding to New Hampshire communities through the Department's Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS Office) COPS Hiring Program (CHP).

The New Hampshire grants were part of nearly $400 million . . .
