WASHINGTON, June 4 -- The U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics issued the following report on the metropolitan area employment and unemployment for April 2020:
Unemployment rates were higher in April than a year earlier in all 389 metropolitan areas, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported. A total of 52 areas had jobless rates of less than 10.0 percent and 12 areas had rates of at least 25.0 percent. Nonfarm payroll employment decreased over the year in 3 . . .
