SAN ANTONIO, Texas, May 29 -- The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio issued the following news release:
San Antonio patients with severe COVID-19 lung disease contributed to an international study published May 22 in the New England Journal of Medicine. The study outlined preliminary results of the recent Adaptive Covid-19 Treatment Trial, conducted partly in San Antonio, testing a new anti-viral drug called remdesivir.
