OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma, May 22 -- The Oklahoma State Senate issued the following news release:
Legislation raising the minimum age to purchase tobacco products from 18 to 21 has been signed into law. Sen. Greg McCortney, R-Ada, is principal author of Senate Bill 1423, signed into law by Gov. Kevin Stitt on Tuesday.
