SIOUX FALLS, South Dakota, May 20 -- The U.S. Attorney for the District of South Dakota, Ron Parsons, issued the following news release:
United States Attorney Ron Parsons announced that two former Crow Creek Sioux Tribe councilmembers were sentenced for their roles in an embezzlement scheme involving tribal funds. Chief U.S. District Judge Roberto A. Lange presided over the sentencing hearings.
