OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma, May 14 -- The Oklahoma State Senate issued the following news release:
The Oklahoma Meat Consumer Protection Act passed the Senate unanimously on Tuesday and now heads to Governor Stitt's desk.
House Bill 3806 is authored by Sen. Micheal Bergstrom, R-Adair, and Rep. Toni Hasenbeck, R-Elgin. It clearly defines that the terms "beef" and "pork" can only be used to describe products deriving from cattle or pigs; brings parity wit . . .
