COLUMBUS, Indiana, April 29 -- Rep. Greg Pence, R-Indiana, issued the following statement on Trump administration's decision to invoke the Defense Production Act to support meat processing plants:
In a victory for meat producers, this Executive Order will compel meat processing plants to stay open as part of critical infrastructure.
"Meat processing plants in rural communities across our country have been forced to shut down due to COVID-19 and our nation's food . . .
