PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island, April 15 -- Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-Rhode Island, issued the following news release:
In an effort to protect public safety, U.S. Senators Jack Reed and Sheldon Whitehouse and Congressmen Jim Langevin and David Cicilline announced that Rhode Island will receive an additional $941,560 in federal emergency management funding to help combat the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The federal funds will help the Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency (RIEMA) work . . .
