SIOUX FALLS, South Dakota, March 26 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service - South Dakota Field Office issued the following news release:
South Dakota inventory of all hogs and pigs on March 1, 2020, was a record high 2.03 million head, according to the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service. This was up 10 percent from March 1, 2019, and up 1 percent from December 1, 2019.
