WASHINGTON, March 25 -- The U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics issued the following article from The Economics Daily:
Employer costs for employee compensation for private industry workers averaged $34.72 per hour worked in December 2019. Employer costs ranged from an average of $27.94 per hour worked in the East South Central census region to $42.04 in the Pacific region.
