U.S. Senators Maggie Hassan and Jeanne Shaheen joined a bipartisan group of senators to urge President Trump to exercise authorities used in the wake of natural disasters to provide direct emergency assistance to individuals and families, and expand assistance to state and local governments in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
