TRENTON, New Jersey, March 19 -- The New Jersey Assembly Democrats issued the following news:

A notary public would be able to perform certain notarial work remotely under legislation approved Monday by the Assembly Homeland Security and State Preparedness Committee and later by the full Assembly, 63-0.
