WASHINGTON, March 14 -- Rep. Chris Pappas, D-New Hampshire, issued the following statement after President Trump declared a national emergency in response to coronavirus:
"I support the President's decision to declare a national emergency to combat the ongoing spread of coronavirus in the United States.
"We need to bring to bear every possible resource to combat this public health threat, and this declaration is an important step to provide additional resource . . .
