AUGUSTA, Maine, March 13 -- The Maine Democratic Party issued the following news release on March 12:
With just four days left until the filing deadline, Mainers' choices for the Republican US Senate primary are "nearly set" and it seems increasingly likely that Mainers may have just one Republican senate candidate without any answer from Senator Susan Collins on whether she is supporting Donald Trump's reelection.
