ATLANTA, Georgia, March 13 -- The Democratic Party of Georgia issued the following statement by Chairwoman Nikema Williams on proactive measures the party is taking to combat the spread of the coronavirus:
"Out of an abundance of caution for public health, we have decided to postpone all party events for the foreseeable future, including DPG's State Celebration scheduled for March 21st.
