ATLANTA, Georgia, March 7 -- The Georgia Republican Party issued the following news:
More than 1,500 Republicans qualified to run for office in the 2020 elections, dwarfing the number of Democrats who qualified.
"Republicans are better organized and more enthusiastic than at any time I can remember," said State Republican Chairman David Shafer. "With more than 1,500 candidates, we will be campaigning everywhere to everyone."
