Total Turnout Eclipses 2 Million Texas Democratic Primary Voters, Higher Than Republican Turnout

AUSTIN, Texas, March 6 -- The Texas Democratic Party issued the following press document:

Texas' Secretary of State election results show turnout in the Democratic Primary topped 2 million voters, making total turnout higher than that of Texans who cast a Republican ballot of the 99.5% of the Democratic precincts reporting and 99.6% of the Republican precincts that have reported.

DEM: 2,076,046 votes (99.5% reporting)

REP: 2,008,385 votes (99.6% reporting)< . . .
