WASHINGTON, March 6 -- Rep. Ann Kuster, D-New Hampshire, issued the following news release:
Rep. Annie Kuster (D-NH) introduced the bipartisan Keeping Siblings Together resolution, which would encourage states to keep siblings together in the foster care system. Studies estimate that between 60-73 percent of siblings are separated in foster care. Rep. Kuster introduced the legislation with Reps. Vicky Hartzler (R-MO), Karen Bass (D-CA) and Don Bacon (R-NE) as cosponsors.
