AFT Issues Statement Regarding Supreme Court Decision to Grant Cert on Affordable Care Act

WASHINGTON, March 3 -- The American Federation of Teachers issued the following statement by President Randi Weingarten on the Supreme Court's decision to accept review of another challenge to the Affordable Care Act:
"The fact that yet another challenge to the ACA has been brought by President Trump and Republican governors to the Supreme Court demonstrates their continued callous disregard to the healthcare needs of Americans. This is a 'which side are you on?' . . .
