MONTPELIER, Vermont, Feb. 26 -- The Vermont Democratic Party issued the following statement by Chair Terje Anderson:
House Democrats overrode Governor Scott's veto of S.23, ensuring that Vermonters will get the raise they both need and deserve. The bill will raise the minimum wage to $12.55 by 2022, after which increases will be tied to inflation.
