SHREVEPORT, Louisiana, Feb. 22 -- The Caddo Parish Public Schools issued the following news:
Following the interviews of six candidates interested in filling the interim District 8 representative seat on the Caddo Parish School Board, the Board voted on Friday to name Jeri Bowen to serve the Broadmoor and Captain Shreve neighborhoods.
Immediately following a majority Board vote, Bowen was sworn in by Board Counsel Reginald Abrams and took her seat among her fellow Board . . .
