JEFFERSON CITY, Missouri, Feb. 21 -- The Missouri Department of Natural Resources issued the following news release:
Crowder State Park invites all outdoor enthusiasts and hikers to join park staff for a Leap Year Hike at 1 p.m., Sat., Feb. 29. Participants should meet at the equestrian parking lot for a 6.5-mile guided hike on a portion of the North Thompson Trail and all of the South Thompson Trail. This is an excellent way to spend the extra day of the year exploring the interior . . .
