Michigan Senate Unanimously Approves Rep. Schroeder's Plan Protecting Community Emergency Service Providers From Surprise Fees

LANSING, Michigan, Feb. 19 -- The Michigan House Republicans issued the following news release:

With unanimous support, the Michigan Senate approved Rep. Andrea Schroeder's proposal to protect local emergency response providers from unexpected fees assessed by the state.

The plan -- inspired by retired Waterford Township fire chief John Lyman - already has unanimously passed the House and is headed to Gov. Whitmer for consideration.
