TRENTON, New Jersey, Feb. 13 -- The New Jersey Senate Republicans issued the following news on behalf of New Jersey State Sen. Joe Pennacchio:
The New Jersey Senate passed a bill this week that would honor suffragist Alice Paul with a statue in Washington, D.C.
Paul's image would replace one of American war hero Philip Kearny, a move Senator Joe Pennacchio called unnecessary and unfair.
