ANNAPOLIS, Maryland, Feb. 6 -- The Maryland Democratic Party issued the following news on Feb. 5:
On Tuesday former Congressman Kweisi Mfume won the Special Primary Election to fill the seat left vacant by the late Rep. Elijah Cummings (MD-7). Mfume will face the GOP nominee in the Special General Election on April 28, 2020 to complete the remainder of Rep. Cummings' term.
Because Governor Hogan scheduled the Special General Election on the same day as Maryland� . . .
