HONOLULU, Hawaii, Jan. 27 -- Hawaiian Electric issued the following news release Jan. 27:
Hawaiian Electric crews will be replacing wooden poles and utility equipment along Kamehameha Highway on Friday, Jan. 31. The infrastructure upgrade is necessary to improve system reliability in the North Shore area.
The work will require closing the Haleiwa-bound lane of Kamehameha Highway between Ashley Road and Pohaku Loa Way near Chun's Reef, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Traff . . .
